I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

 I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

A woman who follows God’s word,

For his voice she has constantly heard,

And her life is a reflection of the ear of that direction,

Lacking the desperation of any selfish ambitions,

So each day she walks in love….

She fast and she prays.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

She loves God with a sincere heart so divine,

That it touches and captures those lost and blind,  

Not because she has followed her own lust,

But in the instructions of God’s plan will she trust.

So each day she walks in love…

She worships and she praises.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

Whether young or old,

She cherishes life as it is gold,

Because she knows that her help comes from above,

So each day she walks in love…

She encourages and she lifts up.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

Whether married or single,

She trusts her current season of her life and embraces every wrinkle,

For she knows of a man who has a grander plan,

He is the greatest creator of the age of man,

So each day she walks in love…

She stands beyond tears and refuses to be bitter and depressed.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

She works hard every day wherever she maybe,

Planting seeds that will one day grow into a beautiful tree,

For she knows whether at home, work, or wherever she may flee,

That her life is a ministry for the entire world to see,

So each day she walks in love...

She knows where her purpose lies and she walks in character.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman!

She walks in wisdom for she knows the power of the tongue,

Her truth spits like rivers of a hope unsung,

For her goal is to uplift,

As she allows this to become the walk of her gift,

So each day she walks in love…

She knows that words are very powerful.

So that all can see that Christ lives in me!
