Find the Hidden Message: But the It Aint It (30)

My heart waits desperately on you to transform me. My heart waits on you Lord to give a harvest to immensely dry places. While I wait I am like a sponge, absorbing every positive thing. For when times get tough, the pressure will squeeze out all that has been invested in me. I took the time to go through the steps to create it instead of rushing the process and ending up with mediocre results.” ~M. Roberson

Find the Hidden Message: But the It Aint It
Am I waiting for it or am I truly waiting on you Lord? When I am waiting for you then that means that my focus is totally on you and not it. My focus should forever be on your glory and not the glory of what it can do for me or what I think it can give me in return. So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.
Lord, each day I chase after you in order to get closer to you. I put my selfish needs aside because it can’t give me joy, but you can. It can’t pay for fullness, but you can. It can’t give me peace, but you can. So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.

You promised that if I would just seek ye first the kingdom of heaven then all these riches shall be added unto me. My focus is not on the riches, but my focus is on the kingdom. I am waiting on you Lord to handle all the its and in the process I know I will be made whole in you.  So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.
In preparation of life, it may come or it may never come. But I am not consumed by  it because my focus goes far beyond  it because the it ends at just that….it. The it can’t help me. The it can’t restore me because the it is just that….it.

So whatever your  it is. The it is the thing that is taken your focus off of God. The it is the thing that you desire so much that it is beginning to become an idol.
Your it is the thing that may be causing you pain. Your it may seem endless. So take your focus off of the it. Put your eyes on God because he can handle it. Don’t let the pronoun it take the place of the noun…God.

Plug in whatever your  it is and replace it with the underlined it and understand that your it doesn’t matter in comparison to what God is going to do in your life. Focus on him.

Power in the Silence, Accept what God allows (29)

God speaks even in the silence. Accept what God allows...
There have been times when I called out to God and it seems that all I heard was silence. As time went on then I begin to see those things manifested and ultimately it turned out for my good. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose ~Romans 8:28
God speaks even in the silence. Accept what God allows...

Anthony Evans wrote a song back in 2011 entitled, Silence. Anthony Evans says, “God maybe you are speaking through the silence and that is all I need to hear. So as long as it takes then I will wait for you.” I have come to understand that God speaks in many ways, but yet in the midst of it all he sees you, hears you, and wants the best for you. It is during these times that I am even drawn more to him because I know that my love for him is not based solely on feelings that change or what he can give me. I love him and he loves me.

God speaks even in the silence. Accept what God allows...
Often people get upset when they don’t see the instant results of the constant heartache and labor. My advice to you is to faint not.
Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. ~Proverbs 19:20 Listen to instruction and every time you feel burdened then turn back to the truth which lies in the word of God. If you would just listen then you would avoid a lot of unnecessary hurt.

We often try to blame either God or others for our choices and wrong doings. Adam and Eve tried to play the blame game as we often do. Even from childhood, it seems to be a natural instinct to want to blame others. God clearly had given them directions not to eat the fruit from the tree, but they made the decision to do it anyway. We are often the same way in many areas of our lives. God has given us clear instruction whether we like it or not. So just listen.
God speaks even in the silence.  Accept what God allows...

YOUR WORRY IS TRYING TO HOLD YOU DOWN-Release it (28)

Fly High

I had a dream last night and the message was clear and simple. I was being chased by my enemies and I didn't know why. At the point where I couldn't run any farther, I came to a large fence. It was then that I heard a still small voice that said drop the weight from your heart so you can fly. The weight of worry is holding you down. I listened. Once I dropped the weight then I was able to fly and go a little bit higher. The more I let go then the higher I went.  And when I fully let go I was able to fly above my enemies who couldn't stop me. Fear and worry are things that can keep you on the ground. Sometimes, it takes for us to trust God in order to step a little bit out of our comfort zone.

Gas Up

Image result for gas tank on emptyI remember laughing at one of my friends in college when he told me that he ran out of gas when traveling. I asked him, " How did you do that?" His response was that he had simply forgotten. He was more focused on getting to his actual destination versus what he would need to arrive. Sometimes you get consumed with the actual agenda that we forget to stop and gas up. It is vital to gas up so we don't stop. Release the worry and anxiety and fly high today.
