Find the Hidden Message: But the It Aint It (30)

My heart waits desperately on you to transform me. My heart waits on you Lord to give a harvest to immensely dry places. While I wait I am like a sponge, absorbing every positive thing. For when times get tough, the pressure will squeeze out all that has been invested in me. I took the time to go through the steps to create it instead of rushing the process and ending up with mediocre results.” ~M. Roberson

Find the Hidden Message: But the It Aint It
Am I waiting for it or am I truly waiting on you Lord? When I am waiting for you then that means that my focus is totally on you and not it. My focus should forever be on your glory and not the glory of what it can do for me or what I think it can give me in return. So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.
Lord, each day I chase after you in order to get closer to you. I put my selfish needs aside because it can’t give me joy, but you can. It can’t pay for fullness, but you can. It can’t give me peace, but you can. So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.

You promised that if I would just seek ye first the kingdom of heaven then all these riches shall be added unto me. My focus is not on the riches, but my focus is on the kingdom. I am waiting on you Lord to handle all the its and in the process I know I will be made whole in you.  So when they ask me, I keep telling them. I am not waiting on it. Lord, I am waiting on you.
In preparation of life, it may come or it may never come. But I am not consumed by  it because my focus goes far beyond  it because the it ends at just that….it. The it can’t help me. The it can’t restore me because the it is just that….it.

So whatever your  it is. The it is the thing that is taken your focus off of God. The it is the thing that you desire so much that it is beginning to become an idol.
Your it is the thing that may be causing you pain. Your it may seem endless. So take your focus off of the it. Put your eyes on God because he can handle it. Don’t let the pronoun it take the place of the noun…God.

Plug in whatever your  it is and replace it with the underlined it and understand that your it doesn’t matter in comparison to what God is going to do in your life. Focus on him.
