BLOG ENTRY TWELVE: Staying Within God's Speed Limit-Learning to Trust Him

A message for you...
What do you do when God has shown you something, but yet what you have heard in the spirit doesn't line up with your current situation?

  • You trust God anyhow, trust that his timing is perfect.
  • Trust him that the desire that he has placed inside of you shall come to pass.
  • Trust that it will bring him glory in his due season.
So just hold out and simply trust him.

Often we try and rush God and his timing. His timing is perfect for ALL of his children. He wants the best for you and he loves you unconditionally.

Do we really trust God or do we do our own thing and then expect/pray that God bless our hasty decisions?
  • Allow God to order your steps daily.

Speed Limit Part One
A past put to rest and a future not yet seen,
I've chosen to stay within God's speed limit,
Trying to fulfill my dreams,

Feeling rushed in the fast lane,
Forgetting to fill up,
I am running out of gas,
Lord, want you please fill my cup,

Hit some road bumps,
Had to overcome some hills and humps,
But God saved me when I almost crashed,
He spared my life and ended what could have been my last,

So I am staying within God's speed limit,
So if you don't like it then go around,
As long as I know where I'm headed,
HEAVEN BOUND

Speed Limit Part Two

My heart isn't reassured,
Lord I think I'm running late,
Let me go pass this speed limit,
For goodness sake

God says...
Keep going the pace that I have directed,
I have placed the signs,
That are around for instruction to protect you

What's the point I ponder...

God allows me to look in my rear view mirror,
I see where he has brought me from,
All for his purpose,
Located in the holes of his palm

Thank you Lord,
A tear falls as I tell God,
I want give up

I didn't even realize how far I had come,
Changing lives,
For I know the battle has already been won,

So my lesson to you,
When it feels like God's way isn't working,
Keep going,
He will bring you through
